Making Selections
Selection Tool
The Selection tool allows you to select text in a document or select annotations.
Selecting Text
To select text
Open a non-image based document (PDF, TXT, etc) Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
If it is not already active, enable the Selection tool in the toolbar.
Place the cursor over the text.
Pick a point in the text and hold down the left mouse button.
Move the mouse to select the text document.
The text will get highlighted.
You can adjust the selection by using the handles at the beginning or end of the highlight text.
Selecting Annotations
Select a Single Annotation
Open a file in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
If it is not already active, enable the Selection tool in the toolbar.
Click on an annotation.
The annotation will get selected.
Select Multiple Annotations
Open a file in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
If it is not already active, enable the Selection tool in the toolbar.
Pick a point in the document and hold down the left mouse button.
Drag the cursor over the desired area where the annotations are.
Release the left mouse button.
The annotation will be selected.
