Line Annotations
Overview
Line annotations are used to draw on documents to add information to a View.
The placement of the line annotation can be edited after creation.
Line annotations can be edited after creation.
Draw a Line Annotation
To add a line annotation
Open a file in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
On the toolbar, open the Line Annotations Menu. Select the Line Annotation tool.
The tool will become active.
Click and drag the mouse to draw the annotation.
Release the left mouse button.
Quick Tip
Holding the SHIFT key while drawing will force the line to be drawn in 0º, 45º, or 90º angles.
Edit a Line Annotation
Prerequisites
These instructions assume that you have already created the annotation in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
To edit the annotation
Select the annotation.
Click and drag one of the end points to edit the size.
To move the position of the annotation, click and drag the annotation (from the center) to the desired area.
Release the left mouse button.
Style Properties
The style properties can be accessed by pressing the Style button after the annotation is selected.
