Polyline Annotations
Overview
Polyline annotations are used to draw line annotations with more than 2 points on documents to add information to a View.
Additional points cannot be added after creation
The placement of the line annotation can be edited after creation.
Line annotations can be edited after creation.
Draw a Polyline Annotation
To add a polyline annotation
Open a file in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
On the toolbar, open the Line Annotations Menu. Select the Polyline Annotation tool.
The tool will become active.
Add multiple points by clicking in the document.
Double click to complete the line.
Quick Tip
Holding the SHIFT key while drawing will force the line to be drawn in 0º, 45º, or 90º angles.
Edit a Polyline Annotation
Prerequisites
These instructions assume that you have already created the annotation in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
To edit the annotation
Select the annotation.
Click and drag one of the points to edit the line.
To move the position of the annotation, click and drag the annotation (from the center) to the desired area.
Style Properties
The style properties can be accessed by pressing the Style button after the annotation is selected.
