How Coloring Works
Color can be set globally for all measurements and annotations or can be defined for each annotation type. Setting the global color will apply to all new annotations.
Annotations can be colored using one of the colors available in Trimble Connect for Browser’s 2D Viewer. The different available colors are shown on the right. To create an annotation with another color, simply choose the wanted color, and then create the annotation.
The last used color for each annotation tool is remembered and saved as a default.
You can also change the color of an already existing annotation, by selecting the annotation and changing the color. Colors are saved in Views.
Changing the color of an existing annotation does change the default color setting.
Set the Global Color for Measurements & Annotations
Setting the global color will apply to all new measurements and annotations.
Open the color selector located on the toolbar.
Pick the desired color.
All annotations and measurements will be drawn in that color.
Set or Change the Color for Each Annotation Tool
If you want to override the global color, and set the color each annotation tool, you can do so through the annotation style menu.
These instructions assume that you have already created an annotation in Trimble Connect for Browser's 2D Viewer.
Select the annotation you have created.
The edit menu overlay will display.
Click the Style tool.
The style menu will open.
Select the desired color.
The selected annotation will be updated with the new color. All new annotations of the same type will also be created in the chosen color.
